<div class="news-title">Drop in classes</div>

Our current drop in classes are taking place at ICV on Rue de Carouge every Monday at 6.30pm.

Each week, we'll take an improv topic, and you get a one and a half hour class on that topic, plus key starter points for anyone who hasn't studied improv at all.

Put together the classes provide a great eight week course in the basics of improv, but each one can be taken separately, if you just want to give it a try.

The classes will be running until March 14th, and each one is just 20CHF. Get information about it on our facebook page. You can sign up each week on Eventbrite.

We're also running a full intermediate course in improv, so if you're interested in that, send us an email, and we will get in touch when the next class is starting up. In the summer, we'll have drop-in play sessions, which will be a chance to turn up and play, but for the full learning experience, head down to the ICV every Monday.

<div class="news-title">Get some Saints every week</div>

Like the Renegade Saints? Like having fun? Like messing around one Monday nights? Like just one of these things, and prepared to take a risk on the others? Then we have got just the thing for you.

From Monday 19th October, the one and only Renegade Saints* will be holding classes for eight weeks on improv. If you've never done it before, we have a starter class, which takes you from first basics to getting on the stage and performing.

If you've done it before, you can take the more advanced class. We'll run you through more technique, and get you to the point where you're ready to perform your own show … or you can just come along to either and have fun with everyone else.

If you want to join, sign up on our training page. It's CHF250 for the full eight weeks. So, how about it?

<div class="news-title">Summer drop-ins</div>

It's the summer, and you could be doing many things. Eating ice cream. Watching outdoor movies. Improvising with the Renegade Saints.

We'll be running two hour drop-ins, most weeks this summer starting next week on Wednesday (17th June) at 7.30pm. Because there's a limit to how many people can be on stage at once, we're keeping numbers to around 20. If you want to be part of it, send us an email with the title 17th June drop-in. We'll then get back in touch with the first 20 people to respond.

We'll be working on all kinds of technique, games and fun stuff, and just giving you the chance to express yourself.

We'd particularly like to thank the Pickwick for letting us hold the session there. Go and buy their alcohol/food.

<div class="news-title">Renegade Saints on WRS </div>

So, we've got our monthly show at Mr Pickwick tonight, and the lovely people at WRS let us take to the airwaves to talk singing, shrinking and blatant promotion. Have a listen to the lovely Viki Lazar.

<div class="news-title">Slapdash? Of course.</div>

OK, so here's a bit more news for you lovely people. Renegade Saints will be performing at the Slapdash Festival in London on June 13th.

Slapdash is an improv festival taking place in the heart of the city, with performers from all over the UK, Europe and the world. We'll be performing at the Miller Theatre, along with Improvisaatioteatteri Joo! from Finland, and then Dummy from the US.

You can find more information on the Slapdash website, where you can also buy tickets.

<div class="news-title">Come and join in</div>

After various requests, and because we just want to have fun with as many people as possible, we're going to be holding an open practice at Mr Pickwicks on March 25th.

We're aiming for a two hour session, provisionally from 7.30pm. Because there's a limit to how many people can be on stage at once, we're keeping numbers to around 20. If you want to be part of it, send us an email with the title workshop in the title. We'll then get back in touch with the first 20 people to respond, and let you know the full details.

The open practice will be a chance to play games, and we'll run over the rules of each game, a few inside tricks on how to make them work, and also some general improv knowhow. You don't have to be a regular improviser, but a basic knowledge will help, and you must be ready to throw yourself into it.

We'd particularly like to thank the Pickwick for letting us hold the session there. Go and buy their alcohol/food.

<div class="news-title">Taking to the stage</div>

Renegade Saints will be taking to the stage at the Theatre de L'Espérance in May, with the Village Players from Lausanne.

The Village Players will be performing their new show 'The Middle of Nowhere', a one act play which will be being performed at FEATS, the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies, later this year.

The Saints will be taking to the stage for an hour of improvised comedy before the play. It's taking place on May 15. As soon as we have information about tickets, we'll let you know.
